What should I bring?

 

What do I need to bring?

 

q  Social Security cards and birth certificates for any new dependents

q  W2s from ALL jobs held last year

q  1099 forms issued from unemployment, banks, mutual funds, IRA payouts, 401(k) and other retirement distributions

q  Student Loan Interest Paid

q  Mortgage interest statement (Form 1098)

q  Records for any business activities such as rental, self employment, etc 

q  Current pay stub

q  A Check or proof of bank account if you wish to directly deposit your refund

q  Any other information or notices you received or anything you have questions about

q  If you plan to participate in any of the bank/fee withholding  products, a official picture ID is required

q  If you sold stock, or your broker sold stock for you, you must bring the information from when you bought or received the stock.  If you don’t know this information, we can research it for you at a reasonable fee.

q  If you purchased a home, bring the closing papers.

 

NEW CLIENTS, in addition to the above, must bring:

q  Copy of last year’s return

q  Social Security cards for all dependents claimed, or verification of name/social security number of dependents

 

We do not extend credit to new clients; therefore, payment will be required, before return is transmitted or given to you. 

Please keep in mind that your return must be complete.  If you fail to bring something and your return needs amending, there will be an additional charge.
